In the center of Šumadija, on the eastern slopes of Mount Rudnik, in the greenery of plum trees, lies the village of Čumić, one of the largest villages in Šumadija, about 20 km from Kragujevac.
Tradition
The beginnings of production date back to the 19th century, where in the 1831 census of Spahian revenues of the village of Čumić, it was recorded that the ancestor Mijailo Mijailović paid a tax of 2 groschi on a cauldron, and 300 oka on a tap and wine.

Numerous quality awards received at fairs over 20 years ago prove the quality of our products. We won 49 large gold, 47 gold and 24 silver medals at the brandy quality evaluation competitions.
In Šumadija, in the village of Čumić
It is in this part of Šumadija that the production of the Mijailović family is located. The tradition of the family in the production of fruit and brandy is almost 200 years, through eight generations engaged in this business.

400,000 liters
Distillery Zavet was founded in 1991. The fruit processed in the distillery is of the best quality, healthy and ripe, hand-picked from its own plantations. Brandies are produced by double distillation in copper cauldrons. Aging of the distillate takes place in oak casks with a total volume of 100,000 liters.
In the desire to package and offer the brandies that we have carefully nurtured and stored for years to the market, the development of the "ZAVET" brand began in 2015, and since then we have offered 15 different products. We can boast that we are one of the 5 distilleries in Serbia that produces brandy with the protected geographical indication "ŠUMADIJSKA ŠLJIVOVICA", which is produced according to a special recipe and controlled production processes.
